You know you're an exchange student in USA when...

... you automatically introduce yourself "Hi! I'm ____ form _____. "

... you have about 80% chance that people you talk to won't know where is the country you come form situated.

... people in school ask you bizarre and silly questions about your country.

... you teach your classmates sentences/words in your native language and hear them screaming it at you down the hallway every single time they see you.

... everyone is too enthusiastic and excited if you decide to do american whatever.

... teachers at school think you don't understand everything they say, so you don't do your homeworks just because your lazy. (or is it just me? :D)

... your grades are still better then grades of 95% of your classmates.

... your English grammar is getting WORSE every day you spend here.

... you are friend with people all over the world.

... you watch all those trashy and boring TV shows with an excuse that it helps your vocabulary.

... you use google translate to find out how to say the English word in your native language.

... you finally do your own laundry :D

... you wonder if your clothes shrank in the dryer or if it's your body gaining some weight.

... you feel like your stomach is going to explode almost every night. And you didn't even have an ice-cream for a dessert yet!

... your most frequently used words are "need" and "diet".

... your freezer is loaded with ice-cream and ready-to-cook foods.

... you go out for dinner every other day.

... you get packages from home filled just with your favorite food you can't get here.

... you attempt to cook your favorite dish because you miss it so much.



... you call people, you weren't aware they even exist, your family.

... you sometimes forget your host family isn't actually your family.

... you start to worry about how to pack your whole year in USA into two little luggages.
      
... you start to fear the day you're leaving...
